MagneTrainer-ER (Extended Range) Mini Exercise Bike

This is a Genuine MagneTrainer Extended Range mini exercise bike. The MagneTrainer-ER is the highest quality portable exercise bike in its price range. It has widest adjustment range available. The other bikes top out at 100W. Ours goes up to 160W. The minimum resistance can be used by anyone. Our front base is wider for improved stability. Improve your fitness while at home or in the office. Place the MagneTrainer on the floor and sit in a comfortable chair to exercise your legs. Place the bike on a tabletop and use your hands to tone and strengthen your arms and shoulders. The MagneTrainer uses magnetic resistance to provide ultra-smooth pedal motion in both the forward and reverse directions. The multi-function display measures speed, distance, elapsed time, and estimated calories burned. Use the multi-turn resistance knob to adjust your workout intensity. The comfortable pedals have foot straps and non-slip rubber foot pads. The pedal arms are padded for your comfort and protection. The rugged, adjustable steel base provides maximum stability. Use it while watching TV, working on the computer, reading a book, talking on the phone, or any other activity where you're sitting down and your legs are free. The MagneTrainer is the only bike that comes with an options port. There are several options available that serve to enhance your motivation. For instance, the "PC Interface" option tracks your exercise progress and can even interact with computer games. A Playstation option is also available. The "TV Pedaler" makes you pedal in order to see your TV shows. The PC pedaler works the same way with your computer. When you stop pedaling, the screen goes blank.
Customer Review: Great product!
I purchased this equipment to exercise at work. I am satisfied with it, so far it has performed as promised. It is a bit tall so some people without adjustable desks would not be able to use the machine so watch for this if yours isn't. The bike is heavy and sturdy as I like it, and the instructions and assembly were easy to read and understand. It has adjustable resistance levels, which I like and I have not been able to use all of them yet, so it allows for room to grow. As far as the shipping it was prompt and as promised. I am very happy with this product and I would recommended it to anyone who's looking for this type of equipment. I only gave it 4 stars because if I had not had an adjustable desk at work I would've had to return it, otherwise is a 5-star.
Customer Review: Works well for the weak (me) and the strong (hubby)
I bought this to help maintain some leg flexibility due to health issues. My hubby, the avid bicycle rider is impressed with it. He uses it on days when he can't go outside for a 40 mile ride. He prefers to use this instead of his full size trainer especially on days he is saving his upper body for weight lifting. Go figure? We have had lots of exercise and weight lifting equipment over the last 35 years. The thing I always hated most was the constant adjustments I had to make since we were both using the same equipment. I groaned when I found him using this one and just knew it was going to be a problem too. Amazing, it was so simple to adjust back for me. I just pulled it forward 8", turned the knob to weakling level and started pedaling. We put it in front of the sofa. We have not had a problem with it moving. This simple device helps me maintain some motion/flexability in my legs, warms my feet, improves my circulation and helps move the water out of my legs. Best of all it is cheaper than PT or a gym and I don't have to get out of my pajamas.

OK, you have a custom lowrider bike... so what are you going to do with it? Well, a great idea is to get involved with a local lowrider bike club. There are all kinds of benefits to joining a club. You get to meet new people and hopefully develop some lifelong friendships. A bike club will provide you with a place to show off your custom lowrider bike and get feedback from people that are involved with the culture. You can also get some great tips and ideas on how to further customize your current bike or gain some creative insight into ideas for future bikes.

How do you decide which lowrider bike club is right for you? The only way is to go and visit club members or, if they have meetings, see if you can stop by for a meeting. Before you go, stop and ask yourself what it is you are hoping to gain from joining a club. What is it you really want? What kind of people do you like to hang out with. Get a number of questions prepared... you don't have to write these down, just have a good idea of what they are before you go to the club meeting. When you arrive, try to hook up with one of the club officers and get introduced around. If you have a friend who is already a member, he/she can take on this role. Once you've had a chance to meet with a bunch of people, you'll have a good idea on whether its the type of organization you would want to join. Go back through the questions you came up with and see how many are answered in a way that you were hoping they'd be answered.

Next... what can you offer the club. What can you bring to the table to help your new lowrider bike club thrive. Do you work great with people? Well, if you do, maybe you can help with developing membership in the club or creating sub-groups in the club to more closely align with people's interests. Are you good with numbers? If so, maybe you want to look into volunteering to help the treasurer of the club. Or maybe even be the new treasurer next time the clubs decides on one. Every organization has all kinds of needs. It could be a need for someone who knows how to build a website, or use email to contact its members. It could be a need for someone who is good at organizing people and events. Every individual in a club will be able to contribute in some way. You yourself have all kinds of things that to offer. What you'll find is the more you offer, the more that will be offered back to you in terms of help, friendship and an overall positive experience at the club. Have fun with building custom lowrider bikes!
